Reviews
I would not come here. We came for a wedding and the hotel was not what I would have though considering the resort prices you are paying.
The carpet is stained and the water in the bathroom is weird. We were going to take a shower but the water was a weird color. It had black specs coming out of it which is really weird and disgusting. The water also smelled so bad 🤢. I don't know if they use well water but having to deal with this definitely turned me off from coming back.
The service is decent, they have a lot going on but every time I needed help with my room and such they shut me down.
Horrible experience.
Location is just about the only thing this hotel has in its favor. Exceptionally overpriced ($400/night!) for the state of the building and hotel rooms.
Carpets appeared stained everywhere. The curtain in our room was torn. There was a comical lack of outlets in our room. The mini fridge has a glass screen and fluorescent lighting inside whether the door is open or not. The pool and fitness center are both drab. The workers were very nice and helpful during our stay.
If you are considering a stay at Mill Falls at the Lake, choose another building. Church Landing looks better-maintained and has a better coffee station in the lobby.
This is a review for an employee Vicky that my fiancé and I ran into a few months back. We were walking around getting an idea for our wedding venue with no appointment, and Vicky graciously greeted us and took us on a tour all around! Then we learned she was already off the clock and her shift ended and she did it anyways. We didn’t end up choosing this venue but we sure will be coming back to stay! Thank you Vicky, you’re truly a ray of sunshine and the Inn is lucky to have you!
Over priced considering it's the off-season. Peeling paint. No mini fridge. Confusing layout with multiple buildings. Would stay here again, but at about $100 a night, not $300. Not impressed.
The rooms are a nice size, the beds are comfortable and the views are nice. The location is great! Within waking distance of everything.
Once we found out way in this was a very lovely place to stay. We had a fabulous room with a lake view. It was very clean and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was opportunity to help yourselves coffee/hot choc/snacks in the lobby. A really pleasant place to stay, I wish we had longer.
Best place to stay in Meredith. Ask for discounts to common restaurants. Take an lake cruise on pontoon boat for great views. Eat breakfast at Sunshine and Pa, they open at 6am. Take early morning walks along the lake, do the same for evening
The room itself was great. Perfect for our anniversary. However from start to finish the service was poor. When we checked in at 3 we were told our room wasn’t ready. Then he checked again and magically it was. We ordered ahead to have bottle of wine from the lake house in our room. It wasn’t there. I called the office and they said they’d check on it. 45 min later called the lake house to confirm it was brought over and they said office had it for while which when we went down again to ask it was there and definitely had been there for a bit all the ice in bucket was melted. Then comes check out. No one bothers to tell me that they made mistake in office and has us listed as not checked in so my deposit supposedly had been put in to be refunded but in mean time charged me again. I had to call after seeing a new charge on my account and ask why since we had paid ahead. That’s when it was explained and that supposed refund would take about 5 business days. Thank god I’m not relying on that money for anything over next few days. Lack of communication and service. It’s sad seeing as we were using this to see about getting married at venue and after this it’s a big no.
